Silly GDQ-related financial decisions have lead me to buying all the DMC games on Steam (besides 4 which I already owned). Buying the Ninja Theory one in the bundle was less than a dollar more than just buying HD and 5 without it so I just got that one too. It apparently already has compatability issues but that's besides the point, because I just played a little bit of DMC 1 today. I've played DMC 1 before (I think I own the HD collection on the PS3, but again, it's in my sister's room) but I'd apparently just forgotten the whole game flow because I had honestly forgotten how bad the camera is. It's common knowledge but the Deep Lore about the game is that it was originally supposed to be RE4, and so it has fixed camera angles, and fixed camera angles really don't work well in an action game. DMC 1 isn't fast paced enough for it to be a major, game breaking issue, but it is definitely annoying, especially when some enemies can effectively hide in a different camera angle. But the missions are pretty short (for now at least) so I don't think my brain will sputter out before I can finish it.
